Russell Bates is a film, TV, and commercial director. A FEN volunteer since 2022, he has directed two short films for the organization (“FEN: An Introduction” and “FEN: A Client’s Story”) and serves as a coordinator and senior guide. A beekeeper and surfer, he also advocates for better bike, transit, and pedestrian infrastructure in Los Angeles. He holds a BA in film production from UCLA.
